The ICTC Society is moving towards running "carbon neutral events".

• Communication between the ICTC Society, North Shore City Council, Bruce Mason Centre and conference delegates and speakers will be done by email rather than paper based.
• All conference registration confirmations will be done by email rather than by letter.
• Speaker conference papers will be made available on the ICTC website rather than as printed proceedings.
• Delegate transfers by coaches to and from the conference will be provided from a range of Auckland City and Takapuna hotels on a daily basis in order to reduce the usage of private cars and taxis.
• Lighting in the Bruce Mason Centre will be turned off in the conference rooms, immediately following the conclusion of the daily sessions.
